Seasoned clinician and insurance executive with extensive experience in all facets of complex medical claims management integrating technology with evidenced-based clinical and technical processes, quality assurance, case management and life care planning. Deborah has an Executive Masters in Healthcare Leadership from Brown University and a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Phoenix. She is the current Owner/ President of Care Bridge International, Inc., delivering Analytic- Powered Outcomes™ for Population Health. As the Former CEO of Gould & Lamb, LLC, the global leader in full service Medicare Secondary Payer Compliance, she spearheaded the implementation of the National Institute for Medicare and Medicaid Education (NIMME), nationally. She has worked closely with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services and congressional staff to improve the Medicare Secondary Payer and Medicare Advantage C programs. She has a history of responsibility for case management of catastrophic/complex/ chronic disease populations, recognized for excellence in case management strategy and outcomes. She has worked at The Hartford and CNA Insurance companies with workers compensation and disability claims and earlier in her career she had the privilege of working on the Medicare+Choice Federal pilot program for Medicare Advantage C plans and was among the first to implement case management for high risk Medicare patients at Humana. Deborah is a thought leader for healthcare transformation and a champion of the profession of Nursing.
