Dr. Theresa Chase, MA, ND, RN has been involved in the health and wellness field for over 30 years as a physical education professional, exercise physiologist, registered nurse/clinical nurse specialist, psychotherapist. In August 2014 assuming a Faculty position as Assistant Professor, BSN Nursing-Mental Health at Colorado Mesa University, Grand Junction Colorado. As the Coordinator of Patient and Family Education at Craig Hospital, Englewood 1996-2014, Dr Chase’s primary responsibility had been program oversight and development of patient education materials, curriculum development and class facilitation. She has published widely and presented across the US and Canada in the field of health promotion and rehabilitation as well as consulted on research projects. Dr. Chase is a self-motivated, highly educated individual who has lived fully with spinal cord injury for 27 years active in all things outdoors, including kayaking, cross-country skiing, handcycling and whenever possible, riding horses.
